Tom Killebrew, The Royal Air Force in American Skies: The Seven British Flight Schools in the United States during World War II (Denton, TX: University of North Texas Press, 2015). The past few years have seen a number of books produced on RAF training in North America and this is the most recent addition. It looks at the seven training schools established in the US and the experience of both the pupils and their impact and relationship with local communities. This is a review copy for the British Journal for Military History, which is an open-access journal published by the British Commission for Military History.
