Public Lecture – The RAF and Operation GRANBY: 25 Years On

As part of the Royal Air Force Museum’s rolling calendar of events I will be giving a free lecture on the subject of ‘The RAF and Operation GRANBY: 25 Years On’.

This talk will examine the vital role the RAF played during the Gulf War, 1990-91. It will also consider the state of the RAF on the eve on the conflict, the many lessons learnt and the Service’s continuing role over Iraq from enforcing no-fly zones to its employment against Islamic State today.

LOCATION AND TIME

This lecture will be held in the museum lecture theatre at 1pm on Saturday 21 February and Sunday 22 February.
