Meet the Archivists
A Workshop for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students
Tuesday 8 April 2014
Halton Room, Royal Air Force Museum, Hendon
Aimed at students conducting research into aviation and air power history at undergraduate through to doctoral level, this free afternoon workshop seeks to introduce a new generation of academics to the archive collections at the Royal Air Force Museum. This includes students working in cognate fields such as archaeology, defence studies, sociology, strategic studies, international relations and law. The Archives Division at the Royal Air Force Museum consists of four sections; Archives, Library, Photographs and Sound and Film. In addition to talks by key members of staff, you will get a chance to ask questions and find out more about the work undertaken by the division. Additionally, you will get a chance to have a tour of the archive and network with other students in your field. The event starts at 13:00 and will finish at approximately 16:00. The event will be held in the museum’s Halton Room. Simply fill in the registration form below to attend this free workshop. Please return the form by Friday 28 March 2014.
