The West Wing – Morality and War

I have just watched the whole of the West Wing again with my partner. Apart from being an excellent program it has some prescient clips that highlight some key issues about war. I particularly like this one about morality and war. It deals with a discussion over the planned assassination of Abdul ibn Shareef, a Defence Minister of the fictional country Qumar. It deals with the problems of assassination in international law and the killing of a minister of a friendly regime. It is an effective way of dealing with some of these complex issues. I hope to use the clip one day in a lecture!
